Seriously, this is how smart I am.  Today I get my first paycheck, totalling a whopping five-hundred and fifty dollars.  So I go out and drop six-hundred and sixty dollars on a snowboard.

In my defence though, it’s fucking gorgeous.

From here I hope to get up the "hill" and "shred" some "pow-pow" every couple of days.  Now that I have everything I need, and since it’s pretty easy to hitch a ride to Sunshine it’s only going to cost me ten bucks a day.

Finish work at 7am, up the mountain for the opening of the chairlifts at 9am, in bed by 2pm, up by 10pm, back at work at 10.30pm. 

Happy. Days. 

Plus, have I mentioned that this is where I live?

Life is good. 

So I pretty much crossed the country.  The four days on the bus actually left me with some decent stories.  Was snowed in twice, got to know heaps of randoms, saw some dude nearly die, and the most impressive - I saw the arse of a Moose.

It was getting kind of dark, and it was from the bus - I’d obviouslly never seen a Moose before, but you can’t really mistake a Mooses arse for anything but a Mooses arse.

Anyways… In Banff now, I arrived into Calgary at six o’clock in the morning, didn’t really like the look of it so jumped back on the bus and came here.  Glad I did, it’s beautiful here.  I’m half-arsing trying to find a job, going to Jasper on the weekend - if I like it there I might stay there, if not I’ll come back here and make a real effort at finding a job.
